Wind, water & workmates!

Come and let your team unwind and have fun at Kulim Park while you learn to windsurf - no experience necessary.

We offer an afternoon of relaxing in the park, enjoying our beautiful harbour with experienced windsurf instructors to help get everyone up and sailing.

Starting with a short on-land introduction to sailing on our windsurf simulator, everyone gets a turn to learn how to stand on the board, sail and turn the board around for getting back to base safely.

In groups of up to 8 people, we’ll then get everyone onto the water which is very shallow so you can always walk back if you’ve had enough. Most people are able to get up and sailing within 10-15 minutes and are happy to have a rest after 45 minutes. We then swap over and let 8 more people have a turn.

Over the course of your morning or afternoon event your team will get the opportunity to have a few goes to hone their skills. Those not on the water can relax, listen to music and watch the entertainment from the shore.  

We provide:

1. Coaches for lessons on and off the water.

2. All Windsurfing learner gear for groups of 8 people on the water at a time.

3. Buoyancy aids (BYO wetsuit if you need).

4. Gas BBQ, utensils, tables, chilly bins, bean bags & chairs, a gazebo and UE Boom for music.

5. White boards & pens if needed.

You bring:

1. Food and drink for your BBQ (and ice for the chilly bins) - or ask us to organise the catering for you!

2. Swimsuit, hat, towel and sunscreen.

3. A positive attitude and be prepared to get wet!

Cost is $35 per person (minimum $350)

Note: Participants do not need to be able to swim because they will be wearing a buoyancy aid when on the water and generally will not go out of their depth if they follow the instructors guidelines of where to windsurf.
